You can learn a lot by reading an anti aging skin care review, but I usually stick with the ones that say "no result" or "adverse reactions". Some people are happy with an anti aging skin care system, while others say that the same product stinks, sometimes literally.

In this anti aging skin care review, I plan to focus on fragrances. Our noses are part of the olfactory system, which is directly connected to the central nervous system. Ever wonder how aromatherapy works?

Chemical messages are passed along through the olfactory system to the central nervous system and finally to a portion of the brain that controls moods and emotions. Some of your memories are linked directly to what you smelled at the time. So, the wrong scent in an anti aging skin care system can literally affect your mood, either negatively or positively.

Certain aromas, such as lavender, are supposed to stimulate certain feelings, such as calmness. In some people, this works, but it depends greatly on memories that the smell of lavender may trigger.

I bring this up, because recently I read an anti aging skin care review, in which the woman raved about the product, not because it lessened her wrinkles or tightened her sagging skin, but because it "felt good" and made her feel better about herself. I read another anti aging skin care review of the same product and that woman hated it.

When I was finally able to find a list of the ingredients in the anti aging skin care system (which can be difficult, because most companies prefer that you don't know that the primary ingredient is water), I found that it contained "essential" oils and listed lavender, chamomile, geranium and others.

These oils can only affect the skin's health negatively. It is the fragrance that probably accounts for the one rave anti aging skin care review, as well as the negative one.

The right oils for an effective anti aging skin care system are those that are most similar to the body's own oils. They include olive, jojoba and grape seed oil, but none of the essential oils mentioned above. They are primarily added to appeal to the nose.

Artificial and added fragrances do not really belong in an anti aging skin care system at all. They can cause irritation, allergic reactions and the term when listed on an ingredients label could apply to about 4000 different synthetic chemicals. Some of them cause cancer. Others are merely toxic.

The best anti aging skin care system is one that focuses on your skin's health and that of your entire body. Anything put on the skin will eventually end up in the bloodstream. Anything that has a scent can affect your mental health.

I am sure that this was not your typical anti aging skin care review. But, hopefully it provided a little information about what to look for and inspired you to learn more.

Can I just say, WOW. I have not been this impressed by anything since... UDPP launched. The 3 products I have been testing from Purely the past 3-4 weeks just really knocked my socks off. If you have oily skin like I do, then this is definitely something worth looking into. I went a little "Alton Brown" on this video, so if you don't care about the Why and the Science of Why I love the products and Why its different from others in the market, then this Video will probably seem lenghty for you. Read this anti aging skin care review before you read anymore consumer reviews. Just because a customer says that an anti aging skin care system is effective does not mean that they know anything about the ingredients. That customer might even be an employee of the company.

There's no way to tell for sure. You know the old saying. You can't believe everything that you read. There is a good source for an anti aging skin care review, but it doesn't focus on effectiveness. It focuses on safety.

Over the last several years, there has been a movement to petition the United States government to pass regulations controlling the chemicals that companies are allowed to use in an anti aging skin care system and other lotions and creams. The European Union has already passed similar regulations, but the Bush administration has been resistant to the change.

Organizations like the Environmental Working Group (your best source for an anti aging skin care review and the ingredients in an anti aging skin care system) would like to see cosmetic companies fully disclose the compounds that they use. If you read enough labels, as I have, you will see that everyone has their proprietary names and they aren't forthcoming about explaining what they contain.

A cosmetic company representative will say that they are "protecting their formula" from being stolen by competitors. But, the truth is that they all have the same access to the same base ingredients. They are simply afraid that if the customer knew what was actually in the bottle, he or she would not buy it.

But, enough of that, let's talk about some specific ingredients to avoid and those that you should look for, both for effectiveness and for safety. I read a positive anti aging skin care review for the Avon anti aging skin care system. It took some effort, but I finally found a list of the ingredients.

They have a theory that the use of gold, copper and magnesium will "lift" your face and neck. I have read several theories by respected dermatologists concerning the necessary ingredients to improve the skin's health and fight the effects of getting older, but I've never run across this one.

The list of ingredients in this anti aging skin care system reads like a chemistry book. I can tell you that the product is not safe and no matter how positive the reviewer felt, I don't see how it could be effective.

For an anti aging skin care system to be effective, it should include protein peptides, antioxidants, extracts that inhibit the breakdown of the skin's proteins, natural vitamin E to prevent age spots reduce fine lines and wrinkles, moisturizing oils that are similar to the skin's own sebum and light plant waxes to help retain moisture and "seal in" the other ingredients.

It must be properly manufactured or the protein peptides will be ineffective and the vitamins will be unable to penetrate the epidermis. Instead of looking for another anti aging skin care review, why don't you look for these ingredients and a reliable manufacturer that keeps your health and safety in mind? I think you'll be glad that you did.
